Without a doubt, this is the most important week of Little Illini Conference volleyball to date this season. There is not just one night of league play this week, there are two. And, there are more than three league matchups this week — there are seven, which represents a quarter of the conference game schedule in one week’s time.
So, it’s time to buckle up LIC spiker fans. Here’s the lineup for this week (conference record listed first, season record second, in parenthesis). x-denotes conference game

Casey-Westfield and Lawrenceville got a sneak peak at each other when the two teams met over the weekend in a tournament setting. Casey-Westfield won, 2-1, but that game does not count in the conference standings. The Warriors and Indians will meet again on Oct. 2 in Lawrenceville, and that one will count towards the LIC crown.
Another doubleheader week is scheduled for next week as well. There will be a full night of league warfare on Oct. 7 followed by three conference tilts on Thursday, Oct. 9
