All eight Little Illini Conference volleyball teams bowed out of the IHSA state tournament at the Regional level last week. Two squads – Casey-Westfield and Newton – managed to make it to the championship game of their respective regional tournament.
There are 32 teams remaining in the running for a state championship in each of four classes. Sectional play begins on Monday, and by the end of the week, there will be just eight teams remaining.
