(BLOOMINGTON) — The Illinois High School Association released the pairings for the 2025-26 girls state basketball tournament on Friday.

Regional tournament play begins on Saturday, Feb. 14 in all four classes. Little Illini Conference schools have been assigned to six regional sites in two different classes. Three schools — Casey-Westfield in Class 1A, along with Mt. Carmel and Paris in Class 2A — will host a regional. Semifinal and championship games are played at the regional host site. First round games are hosted by the school with the higher seed. One team – 10th-ranked (Class 2A) Mt. Carmel – will carry a No. 1 seed into the Regional it hosts.

Olney will host a Class 2A Sectional tournament beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 24. The winner there would advance to the Benton Super-Sectional on Monday, Mar. 2.

The state championship tournament will be played on Mar. 5-7 at CEFCU Arena on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal.
