The Little Illini Conference will be well represented at the IHSA girls state track meet next week at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. LIC athletes wracked up an impressive total of 46 state meet entries based on their qualifications at three Sectional meets held on Friday.

Nine individuals and relays will come in as Sectional champions. One team won a Sectional crown as well – Robinson in the Class 1A Sectional meet at Newton, where the host Eagles took second.

The three-class state meet will be held from May 21-23 at EIU.
